CNO Software Engineer with $20K Sign-on Bonus

This program is about to be awarded. As a Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to participate on a high-visibility DoD/Intel program that provides software design, development, and component testing to an important Cyber Network Operations (CNO) mission. This program will be the premier development contract to modernize the tools used for managing, assessing, and controlling the CNO mission. As a member of an elite team of Cyber professionals, you will focus on developing the next generation of cutting-edge Cyber capabilities.
 

Working within a Scaled Agile Framework engineering process, using Atlassian tools and modern development environment, you will create, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics and visualizations, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, and mission management tools) supporting dynamic Cyber mission requirements. 

Tools and Technologies within the Development Environment: 

Programming languages: C, C++, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, Go (Golang), Genesis, Snort, Bash, and Python 

Frameworks, life-cycle management, and development tools: Hibernate, Spring Boot, ExtJS, AngularJS, Ansible, Swagger, Git, Subversion, Maven, Gradle, Nexus, Eclipse, IntelliJ, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, SonarQube, Ext-Js, jQuery, and D3.js 

Cloud technologies: Pig, Hive, Apache Spark, Storm, HBase, Hadoop Distributed File System, and MapReduce 

Open-source virtual machines and Cloud-based systems: OpenStack, OpenShift, Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)  

Application servers: Node.js, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Glassfish, JBoss and Apache Tomcat 

Data interchange formats: JavaScript Object Notation JSON, Apache Avro, and eXtensible Mark-up Language (XML) 

Data environments: Oracle, Sybase, PostGreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Splunk, and Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana (ELK), and Neo4j 

Operating system environments: Windows, Linux, and MacOS 

Scripting Languages: PHP and Perl 

Junior and Senior applicants are being considered as we are building our development teams with a range of engineers including recent graduates and senior experts looking for their next challenge supporting the CNO mission.  

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.  

Current Clearance Required: Must have a TS/SCI with Appropriate Polygraph

Specialized Expertise in the Following is a Plus: 

  • Python Coding 

  • Software Database and Repository Interface Development 

  • User Interface Web Design and Usability
