This position requires a software engineer providing full software life-cycle support for incremental software functionality. The candidate should be self-motivated, enjoy working directly with the customer and with the end-users and value high quality software.
All of this work is in the middle tier/back-end (there is no front-end/GUI work).
Develop dataflow management and database management software.
Participate in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software to run under either Microsoft Windows (XP or later) or UNIX (Solaris 8 or later, Redhat LINUX) Operating System.
Current & active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph
- The work location for this effort is in Quantico, VA.
- Minimum of 7 years (preferably higher) with software development lifecycle experience; BS degree or related engineer/technology degree can substitute for 2 years.
- Within the last 7 years, a minimum of 5 years' experience with designing, coding, testing, and debugging software to run under either Microsoft Windows (XP or later) or UNIX (Solaris 8 or later, Redhat LINUX) Operating
- Development on a WINDOWS platform
