Software defined radio architectures (e.g. SCA, REDHAWK, or GNU), commercial wireless standards, geolocation techniques, software configuration management tools (e.g. GIT), Python, Eclipse IDE, Goggle Protocol Buffer, model-based design (e.g. MATLAB), service oriented architecture and LINUX OS.

Responsibilities:
- This position is on the Demodulation team. Candidates will create demodulation algorithms using Matlab and/or C++ to be implemented in a Software Defined Radio (SDR) as C++ code for multiple customer projects.
- Develop MATLAB scripts for demodulation of digital modulation schemes such as TDMA, BPSK/QPSK/M-PSK, QAM
- Develops, maintains, and enhances signal processing software (e.g., detectors, demodulators, protocol processors).
- Desired experience with different signal processing tasks including Demodulators, FEC Decoders, Deinterleavers, and Data Validators.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience as a SSWE or equivalent experience on projects with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) to include experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (e.g. WVT, DVT), and digital signal processing (e.g. Adaptive beamforming/filtering, demodulation).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Knowledge of DSP and digital telecommunication modulation schemes.
