Program Finance Lead

This program provides the Government with technical and management expertise to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of their missions and systems. This position serves as the Program Finance Lead for the prime contractor and is responsible for all aspects of financial oversight on the program. The Program Finance Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining the program budget, tracking program costs, and forecasting future funding. 


As Program Finance Lead, you will: 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with program stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the program financials.  
  • Collaborate with Program Management to achieve financial objectives by providing accurate and timely information on program spend, commitments, accruals, and variances to plan.  
  • Participate in regular program reviews with Government leadership and corporate executives. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for all Program Control activities related to cost. 
  • Coordinate with other functions within the organization to support program deliverables including but not limited to: Accounting, Contracts, and Payroll. 
  • Manage all financial activities, to include timesheet processing, subcontractor funding, invoicing, and tracking the income statement and balance sheet for the program.  
  • Maintain the program EAC and budget to monitor spending and communicate early warning of potential over/under runs.  
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities associated with the program and provide solutions for mitigation or enhancement.  
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations. 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change. 
  • Use Unanet ERP software to track, manage and report program finances. 
  • Mentor junior program control staff. 


Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field  
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience supporting IC or DoD programs 
  • Experience with cost reimbursable programs in excess of $10 million annually 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills  
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team  
  • Current and active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph preferred but not required. 
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills  
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel 
  • Unanet experience preferred
Estimated salary range: $120,000.00+
