This opportunity supports an Enterprise IT contract with a team of 70+ engineers responsible for the architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance and sustainment of a world-wide multi-level / multiple classification Enterprise IT environment enabling collaboration between the US and partners and the DoD IC. This Enterprise architecture serves as a gateway for the deployment of new network, enterprise software, and SIGINT applications into a custom global collaboration environment. Cross domain security, user access controls and continuous monitoring are critical to the success of the program.
In this role, you will support the Next Generation Voice and Video (V&V) solution to be integrated into a suite of tools that allows collaboration and cooperation among disparate domain classifications. Various Cisco commercial off the shelf (COTS) will provide the baseline architecture for these V&V solutions. In addition, the sustainment of any legacy V&V solutions will be maintained until end of life (EOL).
The ITE3 Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of Voice and Video systems. Works independently or part of a team on advanced technologies analysis projects. Reviews and tests systems for adherence to requirements and documents test results. Resolve tickets and problem reports on specific technologies and hardware/software components to include COTS/GOTS products from the system level to individual components. Recommends new technologies and processes for complex systems. Coordinates system installations and monitors equipment functioning. Identifies system requirements for operations and security and works with other engineers and staff to develop design and integrate components.
Required Candidate Qualifications:
- Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Appropriate Polygraph
- Must have a Security + certification.
- Twelve (12) years’ experience as an IT Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to ten (10) years of IT Engineering experience.
- Four (4) years of additional IT Engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree, making the total experience requirement sixteen (16) years as an IT Engineer without a degree.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Systems (CUCM, CUBE, CMS, CMM, TMS, VQ Comms Manager)
- Expert knowledge in real time Voice and Video Network and Security services: DNS, DHCP, TFTP, NTP, VPN/IPSec, TLS, SRTP and PKI Security
- Expert knowledge of routed and routing protocols and multi-layer Ethernet switching technologies
- Experience on the installation/maintenance of Cisco VoIP and VTC systems and services
- Excellent project management, troubleshooting, problem resolution, documentation and customer management skills required.
