Job Description: Located in Belcamp MD, the Systems Engineer IV focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation. The Systems Engineer IV is responsible for applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement. The Systems Engineer IV interacts with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. The Systems Engineer IV communicates with other TDP project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required: The Systems Engineer IV is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include:
Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
The Systems Engineer IV contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
The Systems Engineer IV supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team staff.
Qualifications: A relevant bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience is required.
Must have current, active TS/SCI clearance.
