Description:
The contract has a current opening for a level 2 or a level 3 Systems Engineer.
Required Skills:
- Linux automation, setup, hardening, to include meeting CS2/STIG and STE requirements
- Scripting ability
- Graylog (preferred) or Splunk configuration, design, and implementation experience
- Nagios, Zabibix, or other FOSS system monitoring design and implementation
- Familiarity with customers Information Systems (IS) accreditation and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, as welll as familiarity with STE/STN requirements and policy
Desired Skills:
- Elastisearch management
- (U) Virtualization experience (ESXi, Nutanix preferred); vdi
- (U) Windows administration experience
- (U) Programming experience with languages including .NET languages
- (U) Alluvio (formerly RiverBed) NetIM
Required Experience:
- Level 2- (U) Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Level 3 - (U) Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Level 2/Level 3 Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
